Issues on Learning and Instruction

Research in the area of learning and instruction focuses on conditions of learning both in schools and outside of institutions. It investigates the relationship between (subject specific) educational training of teachers in the general education, higher education, life-long learning contexts. Sample projects in this area are concerned with subject specific didactical analyses of (digital) media usage in learning environments, with verbal representations of curricular content knowledge in the classroom discourse, and ways and conditions of active and self-regulated learning in primary, secondary, and higher education.
